Unibloom's Climate targets approved by SBTi: Joins 6000 progressive companies committed to 50% emission reduction by 2030

Unibloom, a London-based, pioneering Predictive Climate Action Platform, has got their short-& mid term climate targets approved by Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi). They are joining over 6,000 companies worldwide, who have committed to reduce their emissions by half by 2030. By submitting to SBTi, Unibloom demonstrates its commitment to sustainable growth from the very start, showing that every company can build a responsible, sustainable future fit, growth plan. This balance of short term action combined with a deep commitment to transform operations to align with the depth of decarbonisation needed is essential for businesses to stay competitive and requires a cross-sectoral approach.

"We are committed to leading by example,” says Anna Sandgren, CEO & Co-founder of Unibloom. “Many companies struggle to turn climate goals and commitments into concrete actions, align departments, and assess the impact of their solutions under evolving regulations and financial pressures. Without clear, science-based targets, it’s challenging to balance climate and financial sustainability and identify the key action gaps. By committing to SBTi ourselves, we aim to inspire our customers and better understand the challenges they face in setting and achieving their own climate targets in the most optimal, financially viable way."

Unibloom's platform was founded to bridge the gap between climate intentions and business actions, recognising that integrating sustainability targets & projects within business operations and financial decisions is crucial but very complex today. Their approach combines Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and SBTi framework to model scenarios and simulations for optimal transition, providing a clear, science-driven framework for achieving SBTi targets.

The platform integrates primary and secondary emissions data from validated sources like AgriFootprint and DEFRA with automated cost-saving calculations & provide the non-climate teams with standardised templates for capturing ideas, build scenario simulations and visualise progress of projects and plans. By presenting cost and financial business cases, Unibloom helps sustainability teams collaborate & engage cross-functional teams and communicate in business language, enabling stakeholders and decision-makers to understand and act on climate goals. This approach ensures that companies make informed, long-term financial and climate decisions to meet ambitious 2030 targets, recognising the urgent need to shift investments effectively with only five years remaining.

The latest climate science from the IPCC - described by the UN as “code red for humanity” - shows it is still possible to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C, but we are dangerously close to that threshold. That’s why Unibloom is on a mission to empower more companies to move from intention to action, in a cost efficient and data-driven collaborative way.
